Attempted the War-Torn Catacomb again but was unsuccessful, so I go to finally try out the Lake of Rot at about 40 minutes in, which I've been dreading for awhile. It ended up not being THAT bad, at least with the spell to get rid of scarlet rot. Was surprised by the Dragonkin Soldier encounter at 1:07:29, and though I died, it turned out to be a fairly simple battle that I defeat the attempt after. Pretty sure I sufficiently explored all of the lake and move on to the next area at about an hour and 20 minutes in (although I'm still in the area full of rot).

Takes me awhile to figure out how to get down, and surprised by another encounter with a tree spirit (Ulcerated or Putrid, I dunno) at 1:32:50, and take him down the attempt after, finally leaving the whole area about an hour and 50 minutes in. I leave to even out my Runes and come back at 2:00:50 to step through the gold mist against Astel, Naturalborn of the Void, which takes about a half hour of tries before I take him down.

With the Lake of Rot area done, I head up to the Moonlight Altar and once again encounter the Glinstone Dragon Adula at 2:46:46 (because why wouldn't I run into another boss after defeating a boss right?). This one takes nearly an hour of attempts as my successful run wasn't until 3:36:35. I go to check out a little more of the area, getting into the Lunar Estate Ruins at 3:50:00 ish, and going in to find Ranni at the 4 hour mark. Not getting into spoilers here, but I pick up Elden Ring's Moonlight Greatsword here! Or the Dark Moon Greatsword.

Before ending stream for the night, I FINALLY take down the Bell Bearing Hunter at 4:08:45.
