Elden Ring part 5 - Map fragment for West Limgrave @ Gatefront Ruins
0Initially I had some trouble getting started in Elden Ring, but now I am really getting used to the battle system, and managed to clear all of Gatefront Ruins.
At the start of clearing the ruins, I will show you where to find the Lordsworn's Greatsword, and if you have enough strength to equip it you will find it a lot easier to clear the rest of the ruins. This is a super powerful sword that seems to break enemies' stances even with just a quick attack.
I try and sneak up on most of the enemies when nobody else is around and deliver the sneak attack. This way you can get rid of most of the soliders. I also summoned the lone wolves to help me.
In the end there's a Godrick's knight that drops some good equipment if you can defeat him. I found it pretty easy to be honest with the wolves helping me and the greatsword. I'm now getting pretty good at dodging and blocking.
At the end I show you were to get the Whetstone Knife and the Ash of War: Storm Stomp. This means that when you are sitting at a site of grace next time, you can add skills to weapons. I also show you how to do that, but I chose to not replace what I have already with the Storm Stop, as I quite like the slashing upwards with the greatsword.
