Background: The Royal Greatsword is a weapon that I find particularly unique in Elden Ring because it's a Colossal Sword that scales slightly better with Intelligence than with Strength, allowing it to create some pretty interesting set-ups. While this build isn't some of my cleanest work in terms of no hitting bosses, it was still pretty fun. Also, welcome to the prototype of this channel's new era! I wanted to experiment with doing a voiceover intro peer reviewed by the legend, @SaxSlaveGael . The voice is my own (albeit with some dramatic flair); we'll refer to my narrator voice as "Iron". This build is also based on his Wolf of Caria build.

For this Build: This is an Intelligence/Strength hybrid build centered around the Royal Greatsword and various Sorceries to create a build that is very adaptable in many different combat scenarios. To begin, I'll break down the Royal Greatsword and why I chose speccing Intelligence higher than Strength. The Royal Greatsword has a C scaling in both Strength and Intelligence with the scaling values being very similar. The Strength scaling value is 66 whereas the Intelligence scaling value is 72, so Intelligence is slightly higher and Strength scales the physical damage of the weapon and Intelligence scales the magic damage of the weapon. The reason I went primarily Intelligence is three-fold: a) to allow me access to powerful sorceries for faster melee attacks and ranged options b) using Intelligence to scale the Magic Damage higher will lead the weapon getting more of a benefit from Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear and Magic Scorpion Charm and c) the explosion of Wolf's Assault is considered a bullet art which scales with Intelligence. On the Colossal Sword Moveset itself, it's fine. The main appeal of it is how hard its heavy attacks and charged heavy attacks to do decently high raw and stance damage, which does take some getting used to since there are "safer" options if you're going for a stance break weapon because of how long its recovery fames after attacks can be. But god, does it feel satisfying to swing anyway! Likewise, Wolf's Assault isn't a "safe" weapon skill. It has a length animation that will probably result in trading; fortunately, it has great hyperarmor and it can do pretty high damage if all parts of the weapon skill, the leaping stab and theh explosion connect and does alright Frostbite damage (160 if all parts land). Just don't count on Wolf's Assault alone to trigger Frostbite. As for this build's Sorceries: Ranni's Dark Moon to debuff Magic Damage negation and do very high Frostbite build-up, Carian Slicer for when you need an attack faster than a Colossal Sword, Adula's Moonblade for a mid-range option and Frostbite build-up and Magic Glintblade and Night Comet as ranged options. In general, this build is very good in a variety of different scenarios.

4. Ritual Sword Talisman: Increases attack power by 10% when at full health
Flex 1. Graven Mass: Increases the power of Sorceries by 8%
Flex 2. Radagon Icon: Increases casting speed

Physick:
1. Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear: Increases Magic Damage by 20% for 3 minutes
2. Spiked Cracked Tear: Increases the power of charged heavy attacks by 15% for 3 minutes

How to Improve this Build:
So, to begin, the Royal Greatsword and this build has a very high ceiling in terms of what it can be because the Royal Greatsword has pretty good scaling with both Strength and Intelligence, so it will only improve at levels beyond 150.

On top of the Royal Greatsword getting decently stronger, higher levels would also make your Sorceries more potent, and if you invested in some levels of Dexterity, Radagon's Icon would no longer be necessary. As always, adjust Vigor, Mind and Endurance as desired.
