Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (Remastered) Ep 60 - Which Nether Lich is Which?! (with PrinceQuints)
0Episode 60 has us trying to fill in some new areas of our map. We're able to add Bloodmayne Cave and Wenyandawik to our map.
We begin the episode deciding that we want to do a bit of exploring so we fast travel over to Fathis Aren's Tower and then set a marker for a nearby, undiscovered area.
We end up stumbling upon Bloodmayne Cave so we go ahead inside.
While in the cave, we encounter a strange gas chamber that appears to be a dead end. But we manage to pull a lever to access a hidden location.
Pretty soon, we come across a Will-o-the-Wisp and try once again to damage it with something other than magic. No luck... But we manage to take it down with Mark and some shock damage. Shortly after, we encounter a labyrinth within the cave.
The exit to the great forest practically comes out of nowhere so without anything left to do, we head out.
Up next is Wenyandawik. The first enemies that we face besides rats are a Nether Lich and Will-o-the-Wisp. Which might be our first Nether Lich.
After we enter the Edesel, we encounter some resistance with more Nether Liches and Gloom Wraith. Then things really heat up when the door behind us closes. Our life gets dangerously low and when we go to heal, we realize too late that we've been silenced. So when we reload, we get right back into the battle.
This time, we run further past where we were before only to reach even heavier opposition. But we've been looking for a battle so we take them on! We end up getting paralyzed and beat up... Another reload...
When we reload this time, we have some new tactics. We summon a Xivilai and then try our best to make friends. And it works! We spend a bit of time cleaning up the stragglers.
On our way out, we pick up a rather tricky Varla Stone and then make our exit.
