elementary 5.0 Vs GNOME 3.28 | Overview Windows Restore Animations
I find weird that elementary is performing better than GNOME Shell on this part, when both desktops are using Mutter. Oh and the same applies for Linux Deepin desktop too, that also uses Mutter and a fork of Gala
Btw Shell theme is Adapta! I forgot to change that! Also keep on mind that performance when you record drops a bit!
Testing was on Fedora Rawhide (currently Fedora 29) with NVIDIA 1060 / 6GB (396.24) Intel i5-6500 and Xorg 1.20. Shell Mutter versions are currently 3.92.2, but it is not that there is some patch that change things. It is the exactly same behavior as GNOME 3.28
