I ended up getting an Elgato Game Capture HD60 after seeing how the HD PVR 2 didn't handle Mario Kart 8 very well, and that it couldn't do 1080p@60FPS. So far, this seems to record pretty well, but I have come across a good amount of issues. Hopefully this can be fix once I start using my Surface Pro 3 as the device (gen 4 i5 processor) instead of my laptop (gen 3 i3 processor).
