Elgato HD60S OBS no audio fix
In today's Crap Shoot Wednesday, I show you how I fixed the no audio obs issue with the Elgato HD60S. If this helped, share this to anyone.
So last friday when I was installing my elgato hd60S to work with my nintendo switch, I came across the infamous ,"No game audio obs" issue. And the way I fixed it was by watching a combination of two videos here, which both were helpful to some degree, but I figured that combining the two could work, and that's exactly what I did. I plugged the USB cable from my switch, and connected it to my computer, then I went down into "Video Capture Device" and then switch it to "Elgato Game Capture (#01) and then scrolled to the very bottom to where it says,"Capture Audio Only" and changed it to something with "DirectSound" or "WaveOut". Either one of the 2 has given me no problems so far. And I'm not 100% sure, but this might work with ps4 and Xbox 1 as well, but since I haven't used my ps4 in ages, I'm not too for sure.
Here are the 2 videos that I used, and credit to them for showing me how to set up the elgato hd60s with OBS.
