13Welcome to Fausts Alptraum, a horror-puzzle rpg maker game created by the LabORat Studio, an indie game development team in Taiwan. "Elisabeth Faust was attending her father's funeral. Father had left her sorrow, depression, and an antiquated house. She walked into the building and followed a black cat down to the basement.
Remaining ultra cryptic, difficult puzzles along with all the endings. I have a like/dislike friendship for this game, love the artwork throughout the entirety of the game. The map layouts including the art and the variety of different objects throughout the game are amazing. Story throughout is invigorating but shattered and unspecified, finally the puzzles to the game are either challenging and fun, or completely fun-sapping and soul destroying to deal with.
To sum up in a few words, Fausts Alptraum is a not beginner friendly, awesomely designed game!
Watch your footsteps Elisabeth, the mystery behind that door could put you to sleep. Also can the Big Bad Wolf go away!
