Elise Ability Mechanics Preview

Here's two odd thoughts I have about Elise:
1. Mechanically she revolves around her Rappel (Spider Form E). That ability is going to make or break most of her best plays, and will be what we remember from pro players.
2. She feels like a complex Udyr. I know that's a very weird comparison, but that's the feeling I get with her spiderlings -- if you can stick on someone, you're potentially going to overpower them with small gains from your spiderlings rather than huge ones (minus the burst at the beginning and the end). If you can't stick on someone you really can't do much at all.
I'd be very surprised if I saw her successfully and regularly being played as AD. Fizz wound up being decent as an AD jungler, so it's possible, particularly given the attack speed buff from Skittering Frenzy. But I think that's just too rare and just not going to work out as well as Ability Power.
Did I miss anything mechanically? What are your thoughts on her?
