In one form or another, Galnet has been with Elite Dangerous since pretty much the earliest days of the game. It's changed in appearance numerous times - but the context has always been the same, an in-game newsfeed.

Some of you may have noticed that recently rumours have begun to circulate that Galnet may potentially be making a return in some form. But for those of you who have joined the game in 2020, chances are that you may by unaware of just what Galnet is all about...and for those who have been around for a long while - you might possibly be interested in a look back.
