In this video, I explained the meaning of Elitist Theory of Democracy.

The supporters of this theory consider that in modern age, the ruling power has been in the hands of minority. Whatever may be the form of Government the power remains in the hands of a few special elites. This elite class is known by many names such as Elite, Political Class, Ruling Class, Superior Class and Power Elite.

Elites are those groups which emerge to position of leadership and influence at every social level. They enjoyed the disproportionate amount of power in community affairs.
