"the most interesting point of this piece for me is that is about a planet that some astrologists believe to be linked to the "Pandemic". But at the time of the composition i actually didn't knew this. I wanted to make music about the sounds of a distant planet, based on the oldest tradition of the "harmonia mundi" but using techniques that are just possible today - i was just sure this had to be a very strange planete, linked to cold a atmosphere, like the black cats. I also played with an ambiguity between an underlying tonal element and spectral sounds extracted from another tunning; what i want to express with this "triadic" collage of very tonal subliminar layers , artificial chords (the first one), and noisy spectral elements is that reality is infinite in its ways to beauty but has also some subtle underlying principles that organize the whole, many times without being perceived in any form. The piece uses a major triad as background but at the same time explores the infinite superficies of the sound by means of sound synthesis."

Emanuel Magalhães Fróes come from Florianopolis, the "magic Island " at South Brazil, and lives in Salzburg, Austria, the "city of Mozart", where he finished his studies with international aknowledged artists at the Mozarteum University.
