Embarrassing myself in VR Karaoke to get out of a Funk: Songbird VR
42Songbird VR is Karaoke in VR, but also a rhythm game. You’ll sing while also trying to touch items, (leaves, butterflies, etc) flying toward you to the beat. You can play quick-play as I did in this video, but there is also practice and performance modes. There are currently 33 songs, with plans for DLC in the future. You can play this game in passthrough or in the adorable world of Nestopia which becomes more lively as you sing the right notes. There are un-lockables including special microphones. There is also a leaderboard but this is a no-stakes game. You can’t fail. It’s all about having a fun time, just as karaoke was meant to be.
