Ember Knights | Scratches that itch Hades left behind (PC) @ 2K 60 fps
0Ember Knights is awesome action roguelike in development. Its a really fun hack n slash romp, solo or coop. Healthy balance of meta progression and mid-run progression. The unlocks and secrets give enough incentive to go for another run. There are plenty of options for mid-run progression and you have just the right amount of control over the direction your build takes. Mini bosses have several variations that keep each run feeling just that much more varied. If you are coming from Hades, this seems to be one of the best coop games to capture the same feel of high octane combat. Casting is a bit more intricate, with two spell slots and a cooldown system that requires to you do more hack'n'slashing to get your abilities back. It's incredibly smooth and gets deeper as you progress. Hope you enjoy my video.
