Neophyte | Full Controller Support is Here and More! (PC) @ 2K 60 fps
0Neophyte is one of my favorite roguelike Vampire Survivors type games in development. So much fun! The skills are great, the upgrade system is great, combat is smooth and allows for a pretty high skill cap. Neophyte is wave-based with each of three stages having unique enemies and a unique boss. Each time you complete a set of waves, you level up, allowing you to select emblems (power ups), stat boosts and switch out your equipped spells. I haven't counted, but I think it's the fifth set that has the boss fight and once you get through that you move up to the next stage. Beating the game will net you gems that unlock new emblems and spells for you to find in your runs. Can't wait to see more elements, skills, and stages added. Blizzard, tornado, avalanche, tsunami, volcano, ice element, water element, stuff like that would be a great addition. Also, some sort of meta progress, like small permanent upgrades that you can buy with your gems. Hope you enjoy my video.
