I invoked the vision of Janus, the god of beginnings and endings, and of transition; I washed my memories and then sifted them, thus creating new stories from the filtered noises left in the sieve and the rushing sounds that flowed through it. Stories that, like all material, are complete in their fragmentedness, errors, and remains, complete when torn apart, mushed together, and turned inside out. A journey, transition and transformation from one vision to another, from wholeness to wholeness, in continuous movement, in the unity of duality.”

Emcsi is a sound artist and producer. Her compositions are rooted in deep personal experiences. She collects and processes field recordings and materials from various sources, including electroacoustic samples. She creates unique and layered textures which build a suggestive and infinite soundscape. Currently studying at the University of Pécs, BA in Electronic Music and Media Arts, she is a host at Lahmacun Radio and a member of ASS Budapest audiovisual workshop.
