"The Emmabuntüs Collective is happy to announce the release of the Emmabuntüs 'Debian' Edition 4 1.01 update (32-bit and 64-bit), based on the Debian 11.2 'Bullseye' distribution and supporting both Xfce and LXQt desktop environments. This new update of our distribution brings the addition of the Ventoy utility as part of our re-use campaign launched in early September 2020 in collaboration with our friends from Debian-Facile and Tugaleres.com in France, as well as Blabla Linux in Belgium, as we have just put online a second version of our refurbishing USB flash drive now based on Ventoy. The advantage of using Ventoy instead of MultiSystem is that it allows the creation of this key on GNU/Linux and Windows."

The new version of Emmabuntüs, a user-friendly distribution targeting low-end computers, which comes with Xfce and LXQt desktop environments, and is configured based on Debian 11.2 Bullseye, has been announced by Patrick d'Emmabuntus. While it is stated that the Emmabuntus community is happy to announce the release of 32 and 64 bit versions of Emmabuntus DE4 1.01, the new version ships with an updated base system, as well as the system being bootable from ISO images. The new Debian' Edition 4 1.01 update, which comes with both the Xfce and LXQt desktop environments, also adds the Ventoy utility, an open-source tool for creating USB drives to the system.
This new version will be the basis for our future Debian 12-based Emmabuntüs DE5, for which we will start testing in the coming weeks.

Fixed the use of an encrypted hard disk
Fixed launch of DWService by updating version
Updates of : Firefox ESR 91.4.1, Thunderbird 91.4.1, LibreOffice 7.0.4.2, Ancestris 11-20211017, VeraCrypt 1.25.4, Multisystem 1.0459
This version will be available from January 11th 2022,
