The suppression of truth to maintain public comfort is nothing new—think of how discussions about aliens were once censored to avoid upsetting religious communities. But now, the game has evolved. People’s emotions are being carefully manipulated to serve hidden agendas, and few realize they’re being played.
Anger is the most dangerous tool of all. It drives people to act without reason, to fight battles they don’t fully understand, and to become pawns in conflicts they didn’t start. Today, many who participate in disruptive or even destructive protests believe they’re fighting for a cause—when in reality, they’re being used. The term "useful idiots" exists for a reason.
We must learn to guard our emotions. When outrage is the product, control is the goal.
