Dawn of the Modern World (2003) was created by Stainless based on the feedback they had received on their hit-game Empire Earth. It would be the last game completely made by them before Stainless was gone & stand in as the original "Empire Earth 2".

As of 2023 the game is 20 years old and contains some bugs that have never been resolved: There is an audio-loop problem on sound effects, higher resolutions glitch graphics, etc.
