This is now updated for Phase 4 of Alpha 12 Experimental. I do not know if I will do any further updates to this for experimental or not. I might just wait and put out a full update to the main scenario when Alpha 12 leaves experimental. There are a few key features I want to try to get in for A12.

This is a temporary TEST-only upload of Project Eden for Alpha 12 experimental.

Your save games may break and will most likely not carry over from version to version, whether that's from Alpha 11.5 to Alpha 12 exp, Alpha 12 exp to Alpha 12 live, or even from one version of Alpha 12 to another. You have been warned. :D
16gb of computer memory is strongly recommended to run this scenario.

COOP mode might work, but I suggest the following:
Start a single player game, save it, then resume it as coop.


Alpha 12 changes a lot with the game. I encourage everyone to take the time to read the full update notes posted on their website to become familiar with the game changes before jumping in to a game:

Reporting bugs:
If you encounter anything you think might be a game bug, please first delete any custom configs you are using, validate your game files, and try to reproduce in a default survival game before reporting it on the forums here following their directions:

The developers cannot offer support for modded content so it's important that they can reproduce it in a standard game.

If you encounter an error while loading planets, or while warping to a new planet or a new Star system, please attempt to warp again a couple of times. There's a game issue where the game won't let you warp the first time.
If it still won't let you warp after multiple attempts, please post the exact name of the Star system and planet you're trying to warp to and the seed so I can try to track it down and fix it. :D


Please leave me any feedback!
- How do the new starting planets feel? They are Jungle, Alien, Dead2, Rogue, and Dark Rogue.
- The Project Eden PDA missions and dialog, do they work okay? Are they clear enough without making things too easy?
- Storyline and dialog is still a MAJOR work in progress and will be improved later on. For now several of the missions are unfinished and give keys that have no use yet.
- The scenario is meant to focus on open ended exploration, but will have story and missions you can follow to help give a reason to explore the galaxy.
- A lot more is planned, just takes time. :D


Known Issues:
- Titanium Deposits might not show up on the ore scanner (they do on the detector). Just dig down and around a little and you should find the ore nuggets. (this might be fixed, have not tested)
- Starting planets all use the same seed regardless of seed chosen at game start. Known game bug. Hopefully they can fix it before A12 goes live.
- Some space playfields might not have nebula consistent with their star type. Known game limitation.
- Resource and POI balancing might be off. There's a LOT that has changed in A12 and going from a single solar system to a whole galaxy means a lot of balancing is needed.


This version will only be up temporarily. Your save games might not carry over after it's removed so use at your own risk.
