[EN] Installing and configuring ProMods - ETS2 Tutorial
0The tutorial was recorded usingProModes 2.55 with ETS2 1.40, but downloading, installing, and configuring are exactly the same. Only You need to download more files that contain basic ProMods (9 in ProMods 2.65).
ProMods 2.60+ requires all maps DLC, including Iberia.

This is a full tutorial about downloading, installing, and configuring ProMods mod/addon for Euro Truck Simulator 2. ProMods is a unique and HUGE add-on that greatly improves ETS2 map of the world adding over 200 new towns and cities, many kilometers of roads, and on top of that rebuilding and improving some existing cities.
To start ProMods you need some DLCs installed:
- Road to the Black Sea
- Beyond the Baltic Sea
- Italia
- Vive la France !
- Scandinavia
- Going East!
- Iberia (ProMods 2.60+)
Above that, You can benefit from Cabin Accessories DLC and You can use Special Cargo DLC.
ProMods is made from multiple smaller files that need to be added as "separate" mods in the games mod manager. Order of those is important. After adding all stuff You should have a list from top to bottom (as in-game) consisting of:
- [non-ProMods addons: economy, sounds, weather, gfx, light, replacement of textures and logos, physics, traffic behavior, tuning accessories (and cabin accessories), ai traffic packs (models), skins, paint jobs, trailers, trucks, map (like GPS addons), UI]

- Companies Definition
- Trailers [TT]
- Trailer Definitions Standalone [TT] (OR Replacement, can't be both)
- Trailer Definitions Main [TT]
- Middle East [ME]
- Middle East Definitions [ME]
- Great Steppe Definitions [TGE]
- Great Steppe Assets [TGE]
- ProMods Assets
- ProMods Definitions (Steam or generated in installer on ProMods.net)
- ProMods Map
- ProMods Media
- ProMods Models 1, 2, 3
- [other map mods like RusMap]
ProMods can be downloaded after creating a free account on https://promods.net . The main package is made from 9 files of 250MB each (the last one is smaller).
