Well, we have reforging system in Terraria though. Goblin Tinkerer is always the one who's doing that, but say, some of the mods add something more than just reforging and giving items some prefixes. Calamity mod, with newest update, have allowed players to... enchant your items... Not really sure what it'd do however: maybe I need to replay through the whole game again. But, here is the mod that kinda adds enchantment to the game... from somewhere very familiar.
