Encounter at Weird-point: The strange pilot episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
I love Star Trek, love The next generation, and do un-ironically love the very first episode of the show 'Encounter at Farpoint'. Boy is it strange though!
Two episodes mashed together, it falteringly introduces the key elements of TNG, some of which would fall along the wayside, and other that would become integral and iconic.
This is a light-hearted look at some of the strangeness of Farpoint; the odd character behaviours, the baffling legal-logic of Q's sham trial and just general chortle-inducing decisions on display.
