1DreadOut is a first/third person survival horror game developed by the Independent Developer Digital Happiness. It was released back in 2014. In the game you play as Linda who carries around a cellphone with a camera that is used to solve puzzles and defend yourself against spirits. Linda also has supernatural abilities that allow her to detect objects of interest, when ghosts are nearby, and when ghosts are going to attack the player.
The Story: "DreadOut" follows the harrowing journey of Linda, a high school student who finds herself stranded in a mysterious Indonesian town with her friends after their bus breaks down. Armed with only her smartphone, Linda discovers she possesses a unique ability to interact with the supernatural world, including malevolent spirits haunting the town. As she explores the eerie environments and uncovers dark secrets, Linda must confront terrifying apparitions and solve intricate puzzles to unravel the town's haunting mysteries. With danger lurking around every corner, she must summon all her courage to survive the horrors that await and uncover the truth behind the town's sinister past.
