How to encrypt a USB drive when using a Linux machine with Cinnamon Desktop. When I choose "Remember password until you log out", I also have to remove the USB drive in order for the system to forget the password. When I choose "Forget password immediately, I also have to open "Disks" again and click the lock icon to get the system to forget the password. You can do this in Ubuntu 22.04 as well using Gnome Disks.
