This is my Submission to Clinton Jones (@pwnisher ) Endless Engines Render challenge. He host these type of 3D challenges every year, and I've never got the oppertunity to participate untill now. It was a lot of fun and I'm probably gonna participate next year as well if I can.

I based this render off of the game Halo Combat Evolved, namely the level called "The Silent Cartographer" which like many is my favorite level in that game (I know I'm very quirky and original). Whenever I think of Halo, I tend to imagine this level first and I tried my best to capture that in the 5 seconds we had. There were a few things that I think could've been better in this render, such as adding dust behind the warthog (which I spent 5 hours on and still couldn't figure out) and maybe adding some more activity on the background beaches and smoothing some animations more. Overall I'd say it turned out fairly decent and I'm pretty happy with it. I got to play with some blender tools I never had before and learned a lot in these 3 weeks (33 hours of work) I spent on this.
