This is a fan animation based off of the game Barotrauma, which is owned by FakeFish, Undertow Games, and Daedalic Entertainment.

For the past 7 months or so, I've been working on some 3D Barotrauma assets in Blender/Substance Painter. After numerous reworks, Tutorials, and likely a few missing hair follicles I've finally got them to a level of quality I'm happy with. I made this small video to give them a test run, and to help me slowly work my way up to some potentially bigger and more ambitious projects. This is my first time using mostly my own models for a project, so they are far from perfect. Any experienced 3D artist could probably tell they were made by an amature, but if people express enough interest I'll likely release my models to the public for free. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if they need some tweaking/improvements after the fact.

Also, speaking of models. Though most of the ones featured in this video are mine, I did download a couple and figured I would credit them here. I especially recommend the GeoCables and Geometry Nodes Pipes. Both are free (actually all of these are free) and they really brought my submarine to life. Below are the appropriate credits for others assets that made my project much better.

I'm not sure what my next project will be. Currently I'm considering another Halo one so I can take a break from having to make so many models, but I'll very likely be making more baro animations for sure if people seem to like this one.
