Endless Space - Lights of Polaris - which faction shall I play in my next playthrough?
5Please do remember to voice your opinion! :) I shall make a little list of pick-able races for those of you who can't stand my voice and watch my videos muted or something, lol
Ultra-short summary of possible candidates for a playthrough:
1) Chantri -- amoeba affinity -- insane food production, potentially one of the most rapid expanding empires in the game, bad heroes and very weak fleets
2) Sujeong -- sophon affinity -- good food, science and dust production, no real downsides
3) Illuminant -- pilgrims affinity -- extremely versatile playstyle, powerful industry
4) Templars -- hissho affinity -- nice military and heroes, makes good use of allies (that actually sounds kinda sinister or dirty, lol)
5) Judicators of Lyn -- horatio affinity -- amazing heroes, good expansionists but can make wonders with just a handful of systems, very dust-consuming
6) Ophio corporation -- united empire affinity -- incredible dust gain but very poor industry
7) Planarians -- sowers affinity -- powerful military, they need to fight to reach their full potential, quite vulnerable to ninja attacks
8) Ouroboros consortium -- automatons affinity -- strong military, can take a lot of punishment, require a lot of dust.
9) Radiants -- amoeba affinity -- great science production, fearsome military and good dust gain but weak on the expansionism side
