This is the third in a series of shorts leading up to a full turn playthrough (likely to be turn 6) of the German solo version of Enemy Action: Kharkov from Compass Games, designed by John Butterfield.

This video covers turn 3 in which Operation Star really starts to get rolling. In the north, the Third Tank Army captures three victory point cities, including the big prize: Kharkov while Mobile Group Popov, the other spearhead, splits the thin German line and has a wide-open vista stretching to the city of Dnepropetrovsk. The solo player is faced with attempting to cobble together a defensive line that can slow the Red Army in turn 4. Luckily, a slew of reinforcements are due. The question is whether it will be too little, too late.
