The title was announced in May, Japanese video game magazines, the 20th issue of Famitsu and a trailer were shown at E3 2010. Knights Contract was the last game developed by the Game Republic before the studio shut down.
Plot Setting:
The characters loosely based on and named after, characters in the Faust legend as well as several fairy tales.
A fictional Europe during the Middle Ages set in the 17th century, with dark fantasy.
The 7 witches who were accused of casting 'Black Death' witchcraft. Under the orders of Dr Faust and the people employ witch-hunters and witch-executioner, Heinrich Hofmann, as he takes last witch's life, Gretchen, she cursed Heinrich with immortality after her death.
