98This is for the boss’ final form.
You may still be fighting Form I which does not have all the mechanics mentioned in this video yet. Yyan used Dreya’s Bleed/ Life Loss team which is a strong team for ToA, but you can use something else. Doesn’t have to be a 1:1 copy.
You will probably want a healer. Outside of the Sinners used in this video, some characters that are good in Tide of Ashes are as follows:
OwO, S3 Zoya, NOX, Dolly, Adela, Bai Yi, Summer, Pricilla, Flora, Coquelic, Cabernet, Chameleon, Wolverine, Joan, Mess
If I didn’t mention someone, it doesn’t mean they’re necessarily bad or not worth bringing, These are just some of the few off the top of my head that are considered suitable for ToA.
Shield Stacking is a very strong strat if you have S4 Demon and Eirene (See Ruby’s great video on that if you’d like to learn about it https://youtu.be/jK4ZZgkvES0?si=EPJmMdSZGZcpxSw1) but that’s more of a whale strat generally.

Notes:
1. Borrow Deren (pref Inverted S4+) & take Last Stand
2. Two ppl at the back (rest in top 2 rows)
3. Use Last Stand whenever it's up
4. Break at 2:45
5. Move everyone in front of the boss (to bottom/top 2 rows) to dodge boss' 3 row aoe attacks
6. Move everyone into boss' charging 3x3 attack to help tank the dmg
7. Spread everyone apart (Should be no other character in the + shape grids around them)
8. Boss spits poison: clear when a Sinner has dark 3x3 around them by moving them near the poison grids
9. Boss spits poison three times at a Sinner- move them after spit lands. (Make sure to move them in a way that will allow you to clear the poison when you get the dark 3x3)
10. Boss shows Cores- deal 2 Core dmg (Boss will not be Broken)
11. Boss shows Cores again- deal 2 Core dmg or more (Boss will still not be Broken) (May want more Core dmg if your frontline isn't tanky enough)
11. Move someone to pick up fallen horn ASAP
12. Boss is Broken: long Break phase. Use all abilities.
