Back when BrainDead was a cross over punk/thrash band I was lucky enough to stumble onto the heavier bands of the scene in the early 2000s - thanks to the internet. One of the three “mentor bands” who was responsible for us shedding away completely from the punk sound was Ennihilate. They helped introduce us to that heavy brutal complex style of playing in those days. Unfortunately they called it quits in 2003 and was lucky enough to be invited to their final rehearsal - this was after their final show. Luckily for us Elaine (BrainDead Guitarist 2005-2006) decided to bring her video camera and filmed this session. Was also joined by Sik (BrainDead Guitarist 2002-2003) and his cousin. Filmed in the old rehearsal space in Mt Vernon by the train tracks. (If you know, you know.) Enjoy.
