In keeping with CRP 2023 rules we want to look in depth at in game items and today we want to look specifically at Scanners! Specifically the Next Island Loyalist and other Trade Terminal Scanners!

Scanners are often overlooked but they can help us gain valuable information we wouldn't otherwise be able to gather. Whether it's the HP of a mob (stamina x 10) or if its what another player has as their currently equipped gear.
In addition scanners help us grow our looter skills and there are some skills we can only get via scanning!
After doing a cost analysis we know that the old school UL scanners may be slightly more eco with slightly less decay per scan but with current mark ups we would need millions of scans for those items to make sense and that makes NO sense.
Luckily the Trade Terminal scanners are all now uniform in decay, functionality and stats but with slightly different graphical designs. Personally we like Next Islands Loyalist Scanner design best but this is just a personal preference.
