Entropia Universe: Using Mayhem Armor To Max Increase Reload Speed When Mining Or Skilling VSE!

Today we want to take a look at using Limited Mayhem Armor to max out our reload speed!
StevieB got a great deal on a full set of Mayhem Armor. Not only does this armor have great base protections but with specialty plates it has amazing protection from special damage attacks.
Equipping 3 pieces will give you a 1% reload speed, 5 pieces will give you a 2% reload speed and a full 7 piece set increases your reload by 3%.
This means when we equip 5 pieces of Mayhem armor with an Ares Ring Improved and a Thorifoid Helmet we can max our reload speed to the 15% faster reload the game caps the buff at!
While we can still get another 15% from Hyperstim 15 pills for the game max of 30% this is the most we can get from using in game gear. This is also one of the cheapest/ most economical ways to achieve max reload we have managed to find.
Most players would NOT want to use this armor while hunting. Since it is L armor once it fully decays it can not be repaired. This armor also has a pretty hefty mark up at 250-350%. Most players use it in a competition setting but remember EU is based on a real cash economy! That means time is money!
By having this mix or armor and items we increase our reload speed by 15% meaning we can skill VSE 15% faster!
We can also use this set up when mining so we can extract our mining finds 15% faster. While this may not seem like a lot on a minute by minute timeframe when you consider the time savings over months or years the value is obvious.
Since it is armor, like the thorifoif helmet, it will not decay unless it takes damage. This makes it perfect for skilling VSE and great for use while mining.
If you use this set up while mining stay away from creatures that can attack you and PVP areas. Even non-lootable pvp as you don't want to take any damage and thereby avoid any decay.
If you are searching on auction remember it doesn't matter which 5 pieces you use to get the 2% reload that will max you out if you are using the rest of the set up we use. You can't wear the Mayhem helmet and thorifoif helmet at the same time.
Also keep in mind when using the Entropia Universe auction system any bids placed in the last 5 minutes of a listing will automatically reset the timer to a full 5 minutes remaining.
