★ ep 1 - Better Biomes is how this game SHOULD look - 7 Days to Die 1.3 PC vanilla w/mods
24I kind of hate how much I love this game because it consumes so many hours, but hey, it's fun. What's interesting, though, is that modders continue to do some (some) things better than the actual devs. Take Better Biomes and Urban Decay, for instance--I'm predicting the devs either steal these mods (basically duplicate them), or they hire MPLogue. They're that good. Seriously. We rolling with some additional mods (including my own ReapersMod, about which I make NO claims of it being better than anything vanilla), and you'll find that list below. This will be a stealth run, modeled after my character Talon from the ReapersMod. Believe it or not, I haven't done a proper stealth (melee and ranged!) in this game. I'm 97% that's actually true. Weird, right?
P.S. This is a bridge series. I needed something to play while dealing with real-life things, so I'll get back to new (to me?) stuff and play other games soon.
ReapersMod is available via Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/6967/ You'll want version 1.3 of the base 7 Days game, and from there, just follow the instructions and enjoy! Go save the wasteland, or what remains of it.

Path Smoothing by redbeardt, Increase Loot Bag Decay by w00kie n00kie, Horn Opens Doors (I love this) by Area8888, Dirt Bike by bdubyah, and a boatload of UI mods by KhaineGB (I love his mods, and him) are also featured. One of these days, I'll update this with a patebin of the URLs because that would be much better and kinder to these hard-working folks, and I really want you to explore and enjoy their mods because they're good. Period.
