Ep 10 | Doubt is What I Do | OT2 Brightlands Exploration, Crestlands, and Temenos Chapter 1
51"Come, my little wayward lamb. I shall guide you to the cathedral." It's Temenos time!!! Our perfectly lovable and morally gray cleric :) But first we must travel to Flamechurch in order to meet him. On the way we discover the Inventor job skill from Arkar the genuis inventor, the thief shrine, make a quick visit to Clockbank, and are greeted by a Queen Octopuff! After this it's right to the Crestlands and up to Flamechurch, where we meet the inquisitor for the Order of the Sacred Flame. Here we learn of the events of his last week, filled with secrets, doubts, and a strangely timed murder...

I am a huge fan of the Octopath series. I played the first game (Octopath Traveler) about two years ago and fell in love. I was so touched by the amazing stories, music, and overall game design that I then dedicated the next year of my life to writing and editing a 2 hour video essay discussing the stories and the impact they had on me... and my favorite funny moments lol (considering I had 156 hours of gameplay this is impressive. These games are big... rpgs be like) - • OCTOPATH: The Game that Changed my Life - So if you are a fan of the series, or want a nice summary for the entirety of the first game, feel free to check that out :) And having finally finished that colossal project I'm finally here, free to play Octopath Traveler 2, and once again experience an amazing journey... This is a story you won't want to miss.

PS: I have had a lot of people ask me this, so I'm just putting the answer here
- Yes, I have already played through the entirety of OT2. I beat it back in November of 2023. I decided I'd enjoy the game in my own time, but record my play through to edit later. You'll see I often put notes on screen relating to things that happen later in the game, or thoughts on events from a future perspective, and this is why. I'll be honest I've really enjoyed doing this series this way, and I'll probably continue to do that with other series in the future.
