This week Jay looks at Ephesians 1:15-23 and talks about That You May Know. When Paul opens his letter to the Ephesians, he tells them that he prays often for them. He then goes on to tell them exactly what he is praying for them, that their eyes will be opened. Opened to the blessings that they enjoy because of their adoption into Christ. Because of the work of Christ believers have unlimited hope, riches, and power available to them. Hope, because of the perfect righteous life of Christ. Riches, because of the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross. Power, because of the other power shown in the resurrection of Christ.
