Epic Battle Fantasy 5: 2-Player Boss Rush (Epic Mode - A.C.E.)
0Just like in the original games, Ice proves to be the dominant element.
I use both Natalie and Anna since I needed to have access to 7th Heaven and Art Attack for the extra recovery in the last fight. And in a more general way, Natalie is both support and the main attacker, while Anna is just a Tank.
Slimes
They resist every kind of element but with enought power their resistance is not a big deal.
King Slime
Annoying since he can spam his healing spell, which is the reason to use Virus in order to counter that. Besides that he is the same as the slimes, resistant to everything but not that big of a deal.
Eyes & Tree
You need to have Stun resistance or you can easily get stun-locked to death. Besides that, they are not an issue.
Beholder
Poison, Virus and Ice attacks are the way to go. The Beholder can just be annoying since he can continuously Poison you. But in general he is not that problematic.
Turtles
They can be an issue due to their high damage output and the fact that having a Target Tank is not that useful since they more than often will use attacks that damage both players. Having Regenerate will allow you to not worry about the Freeze so that is another thing to take into account.
Giga Golem
This thing is a problem for two reasons; one, it can lower your Defenses almost every turn, and two, its counter will damage both players. These two factors are what makes this fight difficult since you need to wait until you are able to potentially survive both things if they happen back to back. The best way to deal with it is to have Auto-Revive at all times.
Bees
These things can just waste your time. They can lower you accuracy and call for reinforcements so the battle can potentially go on for a lot of time, but thankfully it wasn't the case for me.
Sandworm
This thing is deadly. It can lower your Defenses, Attack and Accuracy almost every turn, and its counter is very annoying since it Poisons you and hits both players. Its tail is also another thing to be aware of, killing it is not viable since it can respawn, and it can stun you. This fight is grueling since it is very likely to die at any point due to a badly timed counter attack and the fact that the Sandworm just deals a lot of damage.
This was not that difficult to do, I also find it weird that the amount of waves here differs from the ones in the individual rushes, but I guess that was done in order to not have this challenge last for more than two hours.
