Ok I've done a lot of Sonic Battles now but I can't help it. It was the first game to make me realize what it means to have a boss fight.

Again it's the Eggman, with the master plan, driving a massive Eggman Robo powered by the Master Emerald, in a long no ring battle. The music one of my favorite all time battle themes along with the in space background, it was something I adored as a kid. Even now you can feel how high the stakes are in what is truly an epic boss battle.
