It looks like the Epic Game Store Launcher is causing crazy temperature increases for AMD Ryzen CPUs even while idling in the background. I have an Intel i5 9600k, and saw only small temp increases, but I did notice completely unacceptable CPU usage while the store was idle. Also, Epic seems to be sending 14x more data to tracking servers than Steam does. Let me know in the comments what it looks like for you (especially if you have AMD).
