My journey into Electronics has slowly pointed me into the direction of SMD.

I picked up a PCB preheater and decided to do the normal electrical safety check. Electrically the unit is pretty good, I couldn't really find anything to fault.

The second half of the video I check the calibration of the display vs actual temperature. The unit reads a little higher than the actual temperature (5C high at 100C setting and 12C high at the 250C setting), but overall pretty good.

Sorry about the focus issues with the camera. I cannot seem to find the lock focus setting in Windows. Add that to the anti-flicker setting does not like my main lights in the shed, so excuse the mild flickering in the video.
