After the assault of the Snakemen and Chryssalids, the project's tactical team was unprepared for the introduction of a new type of soldier on the field. Hulking and almost supernaturally tough, this new green-suited foot soldier is able to withstand a terrifying amount of damage, even from the improved laser weapons.

Faced with this new threat, the project takes desperate measures and sends the tactical team out to capture an alien engineer -at any cost- in the hopes of unlocking the alien plasma weaponry for use by the project.
