Part 64 of my interactive 100% playthrough of Virtue's Last Reward on the Nintendo 3DS.

In this part, we continue our investigation of the B. Garden and ask ourselves why does a lever for dropping the light from the ceiling exist...

Here are some explanations for the remaining puzzles of the room:

—— The Coins & The Scale ——
This puzzle can be started by examining the metal plate at the back of the cave behind the waterfall. The plate has four circular indentations in it, with three "less than" symbols between them.

You won't be able to do much with that until you get the four colored coins. The first one, at the side of the garden, is fairly easy to get, and suggests that more coins are hidden inside vegetables. However, since there are a lot of vegetables, you'll need something to narrow the search. That something is the metal detector near the tombstone. You'll also need the small knife near the scale to cut the vegetables open. There's one coin per type of vegetables.

Simply having the coins is not sufficient though. As the "less than" symbols suggest, the coins have to be put in a specific order... Actually, that order is, going left to right, from the lightest to the heaviest. I guess a visit to the scale is needed then! There are a few rules you should know about this scale. You have to use it five turns in a row. If you use it more or less times than that, a spring will activate and send all the coins flying. If that spring activates three times in all, the game will automatically change the difficulty of the room to "Easy", potentially ruining your Hard mode run! To avoid that, you need to be as efficient as possible when weighing the coins. That means you should note every results you get and don't test two times the same thing. You should be able to find the order in 3 turns, and then take the remaining two turns to confirm your order.

Once you have found the order, simply return to the panel behind the waterfall and put your coins there, from the lightest to the left, to the heaviest to the right. Doing so will open the panel, revealing a screen for the last puzzle of the room.

—— Stars On The Water ——
This puzzle can be started by examining the screen behind the metal plate where you solved the coin puzzle. The screen consists of nine stars of different colors. You need to enter a code of 5 colors to solve it. You won't be able to do much with that screen until you get the tools needed to make night fall over the garden.

At nighttime, you'll quickly notice that stars appeared in the stream of water. Each of them have their unique size and color. The direction of the flow of water tells you the order in which you should input the colors on the screen. Since the stream starts from the waterfall to the lake, that means the order is Purple, Blue, Yellow, Green, Red. Enter that combination on the screen and you'll get rewarded with the escape (green) password.

If you decide to let the size of the star determine the order in which you should input them, you'll be rewarded with the bonus file (blue) password instead. Note that the order by size is from the biggest to the smallest.
