Escape Simulator - Best of March (Co-Op)
0In which things get a bit darker and more complicated with this set. I definitely was not prepared. I think the last one was my favorite.
I feel like I really need to emphasize how much I do not do horror. Thus why we end up getting walking floor, or sometimes ceiling, simulator for a good chunk of this. My husband likes atmospheric horror, but isn't a fan of jump scares (which was the worst part for him)-- meanwhile I had my sound off within a few minutes and only ended up putting it back on for one puzzle.

* Since Chapter II was on the Best Of, we figured we should do Chapter I for like... story-sense. I feel like you can probably play them separately as you get all the story beats either way and really don't NEED to play both to have the full story-- Chapter I essentially follows Emily's PoV with a bit of her father's while Chapter II is on her father's PoV and I feel like the extra stuff I learned from II only made it more depressing, but you could pretty much get the gist of what happened without the why (I'm still reeling over the dog too along with the spider room which you at least could have avoided with only playing Chapter I)
** If you wonder why we just stand there for a bit, it's due to decompressing after what we just played. I again need to reiterate; I DON'T DO HORROR. Also why did two maps this month have to do with a dead family? ;~; It's March!!
