Esse Proxy - Intense, Brutal 3D Twin-Stick Cyberpunk Shooter
19Hey lovely people, today something a little different, a first impressions of Esse Proxy, because I played the demo, and it’s quite an interesting game.
Here’s what the devs have to say about it, both of ‘em: A Slick, Stylish and Brutal, Top-Down Twin-Stick Shooter. Kill or die, Learn and Repeat before you unveil the secrets of Esse Proxy in this Action-Packed Story on a Dystopian Cyberpunk City.
I’m skipping the story, because it’s not that prominent in the demo, and because I don’t want to spoil it. Instead, let’s focus on the Learn & Repeat here, because it is a real thing, and it’s rather addictive. When you first start playing this game, you’re basically immediately killed, in the first minute of the game, until you realize this is supposed to happen. Forget tactical gameplay or dodging skillshots, it’s all about fluid motion, a solid memory, and a steady mousehand.
