E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, maybe the most notorious of video games based on movies, is a lousy Atari 2600 game that confused and confounded a lot of kids come Christmas 1982. The complicated gameplay and terrible collision detection with those DAMNEDABLE HOLES have me marking this as one of the bad console games.

This video used to be the version with YouTube annotations (remember those?). It's got a couple thousand views as I'm typing this, so I'll leave it up. You can trust me that they were Hi-larious.
