Eternal Darkness - Story Explanation and Analysis
I have known about this game for roughly 15-16 years. That's more than half the time I have been alive. It was only in the last two months that I decided to finally give this game a shot. My god... I couldn't believe how good it was.

Michael Moorcock's Influence:
Quote from Denis Dyack, the director of Eternal Darkness: "The other one that’s a little more subtle in Eternal Darkness that a lot of people don’t pick up on is Michael Moorcock and the parallel universes, Eternal Champion kind of thing.”
In Eternal Darkness, you can fight each of the three Ancients depending on which relic you choose at the beginning (red, blue, or green). If you complete the game three times, each time defeating a different Ancient, you get access to a secret fourth ending regarding Mantorok. Dyack considers the defeat of each separate Ancient as taking place in a parallel universe.
