Nighttime Ending theme of Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream
ZUN's comment (in Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream): The song that plays during night-time endings. All the endings have a particular oriental feel to them. Hooray!
ZUN's comment (th3_17.txt): Thank you for downloading this song.
This is "Eternal Full Moon" from Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream. I wrote this arrangement with a hope of bringing about the image of the shrine being a little puffy. It was also originally Japanese melody, and to sound like "~oh, it's Miko" (laughs)
I think I am glad that I was able to bring a gentle yet emotional song for the first time in many years, but I would not know what you would feel. Since the ending song is set apart from other songs, I struggled quite on how to go about writing it for many days. But I want to believe that the song became a Japanese-tically cute little piano melody.
This song itself, because it was the ending theme of only two people "Kana" and "Mima", it has comparatively low frequency of use (^ ^ i. The Eternal full moon is a story of a certain "Imperial City", reflecting the Mima's ending of "distance of the Earth and the moon, ... if three times farther than now," and such and such, I wonder if the person who got the reference (^ ^;;
Haa, it's so Japanese. Shrine Fantasy.
Well then, let us meet again in the next song, shall we? ZUN
