Eternal Palace - Heroic: Azshara (Boss Voice/Sound, Cinematic/Quest, Fire Mage, Tips in Description)
Assuming you can read the dungeon journal.
Soaking wards: Try to avoid going above 5 stacks to not get one shot. A crucially important part of this fight is people realizing they have no drained soul stacks and going to soak a ward. Suggest marking each ward with a marker such a X Left, Square Right and Triangle Bottom and having one raid member let the others know which ward needs to be soaked. If you can soak and a ward isn't topped you should be soaking as soon as possible to not get behind.
Phase 1
You can use the pillar to start where you have to hide the bosses from each other, but generally try to keep the bosses out of the middle of the room to make the transition easier.
The crucial part of this phase is killing the Overzealous Hulks before they reach a ward. If it does you're going to instantly lose 25% energy on the ward and probably end up behind on topping up your wards in p2. It's important to not apply any low duration snares, silences, stuns or disorients to this add so that you can get a full six second stun on it. As soon as any low duration snare such as mindflay wears off it will go immune to stuns. It is also helpful to let it move slightly before stunning because it will pick a new ward to move to after the stun wears off buying you more time to kill it.
Intermissions
These take some learning. Most important for the first 10 seconds is for only people who have the Suffer! debuff and who must soak an orb to soak. Otherwise you'll soak the orbs too quickly and end up with no orbs and lots of sanction stacks. Once ~9 seconds are left on debuffs make sure all remaining orbs get soaked by everyone. Also, suggest using one of the markers as a place for all people who must stack to go to together, so that orbs are left for people who must soak alone.
Phase 2
Pretty easy phase, just really keep on top of topping up your wards with anyone who doesn't have drain soul. Try to avoid having the boss near the blue Wards of Power, or they will all have energy when she switches the Wards' polarities and give the boss a huge damage buff. Have people run out behind pillars to be dispelled with arcane bursts. Ring of Peace is pretty nice for the little adds. Remember you get the big add+Beckon after the arcane detonation and all DPS need to be on it instantly without getting mind controlled.
Second intermission
Same as the first but you can keep dps-ing Azshara during it, and it's really important to have low stacks going out of this. You can't soak wards during the intermission but a lot of people's debuffs should be falling off so as the intermission ends people should be looking to soak wards ASAP.
Phase 3
DPS need to be quick here to get on the Tidemistress near the console and kill her before she casts her shield. That way you'll have only one Tidemistress up for most of the phase and won't get behind on ancient ward energy. A common way to wipe here is for a Charged Spear to hit one of the LOS blockers and explode for double damage. Always ensure your charged spears are aimed into the ocean, and only point them at the add if it has a shield up. If you're quick, you can phase this before you get a second loyal Myrmidon.
The second tidemistress spawns randomly on either one of the wards that isn't near the console, just have ranged in between the two adds and keep the boss away when Beckon is coming.
Phase 4
As soon as the second tidemistress dies or Azshara hits 40% she'll phase. Having a Tidemistress up long enough for Azshara to hit 40% is probably bad, because you'll likely have had a lot of energy drained from your wards.
Ranged should head to the edge of the room as the phase starts, and every time the boss gets near 100 energy to bait the Nether Portals. Generally you want these not on the ancient wards or the console which is usually bad and a wipe.
As the phase starts you'll get the first console overload. From when Azshara finishes her cast you have 30 seconds on heroic to get rid of at least three of the four charges using your extra action button at the console. This means you need to do at least one every ~7.5 seconds.
We used a dps, but whoever clicks the console will get a nasty DoT that stacks if you keep clicking the console. Immunities remove it so it is probably best to send a tank or immunity class up to do the extra action button on the console. Preferably melee since they can't be targeted by nether storm. A ranged can do it, as we did in the video but probably not ideal. The players who get the 40s damage buff that kills you, can go to 10 stacks as their debuff ends to keep wards up.
Don't die to the red glowy beams.
Just like in every phase, it's critically important in p4 to realize your drained soul has fallen off so you can go soak another ward ASAP. At some point in P4 everyone will have the debuff and the ward the boss is closest to will be nearly drained and you'll need to move the boss to a healthier ward.
