Brief History of Developer/Studio: Learn more about the founder/developer (Christian Aguila) here: https://theindiedev.com/ I've always wanted to create my own game development studio and work on my own games for a living since I was a little kid. In 2018 I decided to take that leap forward and begin building the foundations of that goal and since then I've been grinding everyday to make that a possibility. I had to leave Puerto Rico to pursue new opportunities that would help me reach that goal as soon as possible. In a few years I've managed to create games that have big followings, generated enough cash flow to help self funding, manage a team of free-contributors and started hiring part-time contractors with my own money. My goal is to have a self-sustained business that creates high-quality, community-driven indie games and move back to Puerto Rico, or start incorporating more Puerto Rican developers, or incentivize the industry to grow there, without having a dependency with the local government. If I "made it" then I can empower others to do so and create the opportunities for those already in to flourish and support themselves.
